I believe the Blackhawk D corps, as currently constituted, is better the Toronto’s. They are awful. No wonder why they need to score 3.6 per game.

The other problem is the leafs forwards, with two or three exceptions, have no interest in playing defensive hockey. Hate him or not, Babcock knew this and lost the team who didn’t want to play that way. Won’t be long before Keefe insists the team start playing two way hockey, be interesting to see if the players pout again.

That was part for sure but there was a reason didn’t make adjustments and didn’t play the Nylanders and Matthews and others, as much as they “should have” and that was that neither didn’t, and still won’t, play a two way game.
