It's funny. I had the exact thought last night that they should only keep Strome if he agrees to a really good deal.... and the only way he agrees is to know he's not going anywhere. I still wouldn't go past 3, maybe 4 years though.

We should be able to protect most of our good forwards. Only guys that would be on the bubble IMO are Strome, Lemeuix, and Buch. If Strome keeps his play up, he will be protected for sure.

Kravtsov hasn’t been great in Hartford. I don’t think Skjei is as bad as we’ve seen, I think the system is killing him.

Only way we have of losing Skjei I think is expansion. I can't imagine any team wanting him for his price tag. Other than his rookie year he has been pretty bad. Other than playing big minutes he really hasn't been good on defense or offense

I definitely see the Rangers looking into moving Skjei during the summer, I think Tronna is like last on the list though

Thumbs up to that. I'm not saying anything to jinx it. I will say, previously the Alex Smith 2011 team was my fav Niners team this century, this has taken over the top spot. So easy to root for.

Imo its wishful thinking. He will have one decent game and then be awful for 4-5.

I would personally move Skjei(if they could), bump up Lindgren to play with Trouba and let Hajek have limited minutes as the 3rd pairing. I could live with Hajek's mistakes way more than with a veteran like Skjei's continued mistakes.
