What do you think is going to happen at the TDL?
They are only 6 points out of a playoff spot with a game or 2 in hand on the teams ahead of them. - TPC
If they can dump the Staal and Smith contracts they keep Kreider. If they cant he might have to be traded. No Cap space. |

I disagree with you here about Buch. I would agree that he isn't a guy a team is going to break the bank for, but I could see teams looking at a consistent 40 pt guy and thinking it would solidify their secondary scoring. He would play on the top 9 on almost any team in the league. What teams would give up for Buch probably isn't worth us trading him at this time, but I almost guarantee if we made him available we would get several calls on him. - 2sticks1puck
Unfortunately, I think the return on Buch would only be a 3rd round pick like we got for Vesey last year. |

Fox call was terrible as was the Panarin call (which they scored 4 on 4).
So all even

Exactly. Hearing all morning at work too 🙄Kreider was interfered with at the blue line(almost tore his knee up ffs) and no call. Eff them. Eff all referees and eff butch goring haha. That was the biggest win this franchise had since the last playoff era. They have the isles number right now and it’s wonderful |

How about Tony Dee; His play has just elevated in the last 2-3 weeks. |

Trouba and Skjei were awful last night. They were both directly responsible for the 2 goals. - mdw7413
Brutal. Now they get a fire lit under them and will play well for a string of games. |

I'm a Vesey defender and Buch is a way better player than Vesey. I doubt we'd get a 1st, but he should at least net us a Donato level young player, especially in a depressed trade market where the top target (Hall) is already off the market. |

yeah that second goal was just bad luck though
it bounced off the boards then over Georgiev's stick then off of Beauvillier's skate, that just sucked |

I’m all about solving the issue internally. He’s a bit of a ways away, but Henriksson might also be a good bottom 6 guy. He’s got a knack for the front of the net, like most Swedes do. - Bean_Dip
Hartford could have Henrickson and Pujuniemi on a line and Barron and Kravstov on another next year. If Krav's is with the big club, Barron could play with the above 2 on the wing.
Bottom line, there are legit prospects moving up in the system and that's huge for us! |

It was more that Beau beat both of them to the puck on the dump in. |

WOW Georgie Boy was fantastic again last night. So the leafs want Georgie, lets make a deal. Georgie, Skjei, Buchnevich & Lias Andersen to Leafs for Kapenan, Kerfoot & Nick Robertson. And we'll retain half of Buchnevich salary. Works for both sides! |

I know everyone wants to get rid of Skjei, but what do they do, call up Rykov for the left side the rest of the season and deal with his growing pains?
you know they'd want a veteran presence to settle things down, you are just asking for more Marc Staal here |

If Skjei were a pro golfer, he'd be the guy nobody wants to be paired with on the weekend because he brings down the other guy's score.
He just gots to go, yo. |

Lindgren Hajek Miller is the future of the left side. Staal is here for a year regardless. I’d give Lindgren a shot with Trouba, pair Hajek with TonyD and Staal with Fox. |

I am talking about people who want to trade Skjei now
what's the plan, people really think with the team rolling with their best play since Quinn got here, now is the time to break in yet another rookie? |

At this point, maybe its just me, but I actually feel more comfortable with Staal out there. I don't know if its because Skjei has been so bad, but Staal isn't, or at least doesn't seem so bad this year. |

Marc Staal was scratched recently because he's been dealing with an injury
as annoying as Skjei is, he played 25 minutes last night, he played 27 minutes in the win over Colorado, 26 vs the Devils |

I am not trying to be a dyck but how are the Isles so good? Their roster isn't that impressive. Is it just having superior coaching? - TPC
They have 2 more ROW wins than the Rangers. They are grossly overrated |
