the tazer 5 hole special and gibson looked for it and still could not get em closed fast enough - bogiedoc
If these so called great modern day goalies would use a few old school fundamentals, maybe he stops that shot. Why do they never seem to be able to use their stick to protect the 5 hole???!! |

Why is 47 on the 2nd PP? He has almost no offensive skill, 2 goals in 41 NHL games. He’s having trouble advancing the puck through the neutral zone. A few other guys with some skill can also stand if front of the net. How about 91? |

Dach is going to be a monster as he gains NHL experience. Already made huge strides from the start of the year. He controls the puck an inordinate amount of time, not afraid to get his nose dirty in the corners, comes back hard on the back check, good at stripping the puck. |

Weak back handed passes by the Hawks in the d zone. Behind the net or at the blue line. They do it over and over and pick it out of the back of their net. - -Doh-
Murphy this time. |

Pretty solid 1st. KANE gets mugged on a break away, 19 hits the post on an open net.
5v5
Corsi 19-13 ANA
Scoring chances 9-8 CHI
HDSC 6-3 CHI
XGF 1.23-0.56 CHI
Of course, it is ANA.
JC has one thing right, morning skates are worthless. What other sport does it? Keep them off their feet and fresh. Madden’s Cub teams had their highest winning percentage in ‘American Legion’ games, when they showed up close to 1st pitch. |

most memorable comeback: for me wings 2013...
yes they won the cup in 2010...but beating the FU redwings in that way to move on was incredibly sweet...and the redwings and babcock have gone down hill ever since...
I remember I think it was SteveRain said: well WTF why not, why can't the hawks come back and win this when down 3-1 |

Yep, another year and 10-15 pounds and he will be a stud. We have some good young players, Boqvist as well. We need to take advantage at this TDL and pick up another one or two good young players, then another good pick this coming draft. It’s not all doom and gloom. |

his stick was there but then it popped up and the puck slid under it...
maybe it's the physics of the motion going down and how the hand stick react

I am like other's here (like sage), nylander is only 21...he has skills/talent...can he get it togehter in other areas to be consistent top line guy (25/35 = 60 pts) in the coming year or 2. To early to quit on this guy. - bogiedoc

Was awesome!!! Was at the game up here where they went down 3-1. Howard played out of his mind that night and that was the Seabs and Toews penalty box chat that had a hand in the turnaround.
Can't blame Toews for going mental, Zetterberg was draped all over him the entire series.
Was so glad the Hawks staved off defeat in game 5 as I was going to a family bbq that weekend and didn't have to hear it from the Wing fans.
That and the Bruin series made that my favorite Cup run.

Wow, that shift looked like the 2013 Hawks. Kubalik is a real nice find. Don’t lose him Stan. |

It's Nylander's fault we aren't winning. |

Kubalik might not be at all similar to Hossa. But he’s no Tomas Kopecky either. |

Yeah, I think people get too wrapped around the axle with comparisons and wanting this guy or that guy to be the next Hoss, Kane, Toews, whatever.
He's a good player and another decent Euro find outside the draft by the scouting staff. |

He’s contributed exactly nothing tonight.
5:04 TOI. No shots, no checks, no give always, no take aways. He’s been invisible. |

Doh, I’m with you, I like Kubalik and what he brings, but Hossa was a monster, a first ballot HOF player. |

If Kane can get anyone on his his line to start scoring I suggest Nylander play LW and Sikura C. That should be entering. |

Hossa was my all time favorite Hawk. He did everything well. But people forget the most regular season goals he ever scored as a Hawk was 30. |
