3 years left at $4 million.
For some weird reason, I find that actually appealing.
And I just can't help but think that Gardiner would get the dead Babcat bounce effect. - Atomic Wedgie

OK, forgive me, I've been smoking crack, but would you do this deal:
Ceci for Gardiner.
Money is roughly the same (Ceci makes about a half milly more).
Carolina gets rid of their mistake.
Gardiner gets a fresh start - hell, he might look good under Keefe.
How much crack have I smoked? - Atomic Wedgie
Ceci isn't bugging me as much under Keefe. But Daley could be had for a middling prospect. |

Every year my brother hosts a Fathers Day pool party for the family.
Every year I get my brothers and my dad something goofy to wear for a group shot.
I'm 95% certain I'm getting these for this year:

It's a truly great film. It's about the bike race, but it really isn't about the bike race. - Atomic Wedgie
T-Shirt idea is great - but you need to get the matching cut off faded jeans and at least one italian cycling cap

Muzzin injury. To ad depth on d going into the playoffs. Pretty much every team that thinks hey can win ads at least one depth d man on the cheap in case they need him. Pitts has added 2 some years. Plus he's a 2 time champ and from TO, contact expires and has about 1.5 left on his cap hit. And he should be had relatively cheaply. |

low risk option for sure... Daley.
I would view Dillion similarly... obviously Sharks will be looking to dump - so he should be cheap.
still think my Ceci back to Ottawa idea is solid. |

It is. But apparently adding depth d on the cheap for the playoffs means Jim Rutherford has been on crack for decades. |

Haven’t seen gardiner play this year but is his back an issue?
Anyways I loved gardiner here, I always thought he got a bad rap and was better then people gave him credit. My only issue is we have guys like gardiner in the pipeline and would cost less. I feel like canes would have to throw in a asset. |

I don't understand why we'd want to bring Gardiner back?
Have we not had enough of his Game 7 failures? |

Well those shots on net wouldn't have happened if Gardiner didn't flub everything so badly. |

I wonder what happens with the Blues, they have to do something with their d core now.
They have Parayko(5.5), Faulk(6.5), Bortuzzo(1.4), Gunnarsson(1.8). for next year. They cant really afford Petro next year.
Id imagine the Leafs would go hard after Petro as a UFA, and I wonder if they Blues trade him like they did with other players like Shattenkirk. Or if they trade another dman after the season ends. |
