If they truly thought that it is reason alone to let them go
- Takemedrunkimhome

They had been drafted 1 and 2 years prior...Tinordi was coming off a .5 PPG playoffs as a big shutdown defenseman in the OHL and Beaulieu was a steady .8 PPG defenseman in the Q....they were more promising, at that point, than any forward prospect we had at the time.

Are we still allowed to call him Kovy or it's a bannable offense?

Alot are also empty bought just for speculation

To be honest, if I'm the loto max winner, I'd probably look into it just to have a "pied à terre" downtown

To me, he's looked engaged, he's hustled, he's hitting and everything else. Happy to have him.

I've been saying Tatar and Petry for months now... Chiarot can wait another year... Domi and Gallagher should not move and it's hard to decide what to do with Drouin at the moment.... Byron is a salary dump at this point, the time was last season but they just had to lock him up for 4 years
- obie

I was on the trade Byron before overpaying him boat. At this point I'd blow it up as best possible and accept the pain...years too late

If he allowed Kovalev to take the Kovy mantle from Kovalenko, why wouldn't he accept the same for Kovalchuk?

The pain is near an end.... just have to make the right moves now to reinforce that, as I keep saying, they wont go from rags to riches overnight but we could see the beginning of an upswing as early as next season

Can you believe Mete now has 4 goals? He has more goals this season than 11 of the 2016 first rounders in their whole career!

Kovalenko was a horrible, horrible player and his helmet always looked to big for him - kind of like Sacha.

I was at the Bell Centre Monday night. People were chanting "Kovy" and cheered everytime he touched the puck. Man, people are starving for a superstar here.

Assuming we don't finish last and Detroit does, what do the Habs need to offer DET for their first?

The only issue for me, appears to be that they are all looking to defer to him, instead of shooting the puck.

And by the way, this team sucks regardless, but between the unsportsmanlike BS call to Tatar, the FO violation penalty, and getting in the way of the puck in the last minute in a spot refs shouldn't be, last night was pathetic. Every night, in every game, the officiating is beyond horrific. It's something that the league really must look into.
