30 year old player whose numbers are sinking like a stone. 4 more years after this at 6m a year. That contract would be a disaster on this roster. The way things are going with Marino and Jarry, plus Jake signed at a discount.......the Pens can set themselves up nicely if they don't make any mistakes. I believe the Pens can extend their window with a couple of good moves. A contract like that would probably slam the window shut on JR's fingers.
