Yup exactly what I said. Just more BS exaggeration from you.
The Islanders are doing just fine without Kovalchuk thank you.
The guy was benched by the (frank)ing Kings you think they need scoring? Do they have guys playing that aren’t as good as Kovalchuk offensively?
The Habs have so many injuries that’s the only reason he was signed by them.
We will agree to disagree that the Islanders needed to sign Kovalchuk to score more. - nyisles7
At the end of the day it comes down to who do you want in the lineup Kovy or MDC. That’s it that’s all it comes down to. What he did with LA or with MTL doesn’t matter. It comes down to who is the bette player right now |

I thought that MDC, MK and Brassard played very well the last 3 games honestly.
I just don’t think Kovy is a fit for this team and the way it plays.
We will agree to disagree on that. |

They play hard no doubt and if this team could score more consistently then I would say keep it the way it is. I just think they have so many hard working guys with stone hands that it’s actually hurting them. They need more players who can put the puck in the net a little more |

Of course if they scored more or consistently it would be better.
You and I differ on bringing in Kovalchuk as a solution to that. He’s soft, plays no D and for me is done. He will score some goals for the Habs (he plays on the PP and gets 20 mins a game)and he may even be dealt to another team at the deadline( God forbid it’s The Isles ). But honestly once the POs come around he is not what I’m looking for as I feel he will disappear.
One trick pony who’s best days past him by.
Of course just my opinion. |

Pekka Rinne has more goals then Uncle Leo😭😭😭😭 Dont worry he is solid in the locker room and a key piece to the puzzle even though they didn’t skip a beat when he was a healthy scratch 6-8 games at one point. Baby steps - Vukota
We can talk about the lousy refs but the Isles still have a pop gun offense and it's especially weak against teams like Boston and the Canes. Isles have too many forwards who can disappear for stretches. |

Take the point and move on but fack they need an infusion of offense fast. Not sure where it’s gonna come from but they need it - Vukota

Cannot believe this has not been done already. Would not mind getting another look at Otto as well. Lou and Barry need to send a message changes will be made and we are not going to sit on the same roster like Garth. |

Colin Campbell has always hated the Islanders and he's still a big shot in the NHL offices. He has a history of interfering in the officiating. I wouldn't be surprised if he's screwing around with this stuff again. - JohnScammo
Colin Campbell lost to the Isles in the playoffs twice as a player. 74-75 when he was with Pittsburgh(Isles came back from down 3-0) and then with Vancouver when we won the Cup. I don't think he has ever forgotten that and has always had it in for the Isles. |

 Turtle Flying Rag Doll
Didn’t see the game but Brady plays an edgy game and needs to answer the bell if he’s going to play that way. The hit on Kassian looked clean but I don’t know who else BT hit throughout the game and the liberties he took and on what Oilers players.

I’m not saying Kovalchuck is/was the answer to our scoring woes but this team definitively needs help in that department. Lameriello needs to add to this line up. |

Lou needs to be more aggressive. He's seen these roster for a while now and it's time to make moves. If no trades are available now, try Bellows and Otto on the 3rd line with Brassard. Maybe something like this can spark the team and at least get their attention? Team seems to be getting stale and the roster is stale for sure. I'm not looking for Lou to make a bunch of trades but we need something different from Garth keeping pretty much the same roster. |

In all seriousness though.
Deal has to be right obviously or just making a deal to make a deal makes no sense.
Also I don’t know if some of the players are available yet. Have to wait closer to the TD imho. Teams on the cusp or just out of PO contention are going to wait. |

You go first. I’m thinking “ The Impact of Moose Knuckle, and Ross Johnston on the first line or “Komarov, the ultimate Pro”.
Either that or James Tanner can do a guest blogger blog.

BD? I believe the group think has gotten out of control. We need the walrus to clean this place up. |

This could all be true 7 which is why it makes sense to get a look at Bellows and maybe Otto again? |
