I think JR should move swiftly to get back some scoring touch/finishing power on wing...not just wing it with what they have. Act now. You cant just replace a consistent, almost reliable, goal scorer like Jake from within. Obviously Sid is a huge piece back in when it happens soon but the cap space is there. Go for it JR. - MattStrat
I'm right there with you. Jake was a huge reason they've weathered this nightmare rash of injuries. Even after Sid comes back, they'll need more at wing to make some noise in the playoffs. |

They will acquire multiple players now..but u dont just force it from a position of weakness...wait a bit..find the right deals. JR will make deals...but with all the injuries and likely the pressure coming off to win a cup...I'd move.murray asap. |

Could be scouting our opponents. - 10inchTerror
Right unless they're around a lot it usually means nothing. I'd love to know what's going on with Carolina. |

Jarry on the other end though was lights out too... He's kept them in the game. |

Yeah, kinda been taking him for granted. He did make a couple big saves just prior to the goal |

That's what I was thinking. Carolina should be paying for their tickets they've been here so much.
Also, you'd imagine sellers probably scout sellers all that much. So teams like Detroit would probably not be scouting the Sharks at this point. But that's just speculation.

Why is the Pens PP trending up?
Penguins current leaders PP GF/60:
Rust 12.12
Hornqvist: 10.04
Malkin 7.68
Let Rust keep the Kessel spot until it stops working. Hornqvist in Jake's net front spot is a no-brainer, proven PP impact. |

Apparently they passed out rubic cubes to tonight's game... Horny has 2 goals... I imagine there will be quite a few rubic cubes on the ice if he gets a hatty. |

What does highsticking, puck over glass and playing with a broken stick all.have in common? They are AUTOMATIC penalties...unless against the pens...... |

Yup....another sh!tty reffing job. Impossible to miss that broken stick penalty, but they didn't really miss it. |

Best officials in the world seem to make a lot of mistakes...like forgetting entirely how to officiate a game. It would be akin to a player forgetting how to stick handle or skate. |

Letang with another rookie mistake. Why put your stick blade on a guy's shin in OT when he isn't a threat to score? Of course he's going to go down and get the call every time. |
