I think Dillon is better than JJ and Pettersson. He'd be top pair now, second pair later. I'd like to get a 2nd pair capable guy and let Pettersson and JJ battle for the last spot with hopefully Pettersson winning.
But Pens might not feel a need. - Tojo.
Yah, that was sort of what I was trying to get at. Clearly the Pens are more than happy with their D core, as long as Dumo can return. I see GMJR using that cap space on a true top 6 winger (surprise the ever lasting hunt for one continues lol). |

Scandella turned into frolik. Solid moves considering they sit 2 dmen every single night.
Dillon playing above vlasic for some reason. I don’t see us getting any D. As said above gmjr loves his d corpse. But hopefully this spurs some movement to go after someone who is possible to re-sign or has term left. I racking my brain trying to figure out who the mysterious player will be. Maybe Rakell? - 10inchTerror
Yah and considering Calgary was using Frolik on the 4th line, it seems like a win for every team involved.
I wish Rakell would be available. That would be a good move. I'm not sure how much term is left on Silverberg's deal but he would be a good pick up as well. |

I wonder if the Pens would consider dangling Schultz when he returns? He's not been great and Marino makes him expendable. |

Vlasic has struggled a lot this year. |

Who wants to bet Kane gets under Malkins skin tonight? Malkins like a sitting duck out there. |

He will definitely have a hard time getting a good new contract with us.

They had the ability to add 7M in salary at the deadline before Guentzel's injury, so they have the space to add as much as they want.
I think you may be right on the Pens. IMO, Pettersson has been uneven so I'd like to bump him down if they can add that type of player. Also some insurance behind Dumoulin. Not even really about JJ for me. |

They should take literally anything for him instead of just not re-signing him. |

They definitely have to make a move and bring a couple guys in. Kreider seems to be on the top of their list. I wonder if they are even thinking LD because they should. |

Silverberg has a lot of term (maybe 5 years) on a value contract. The beat writers on the Athletic have mentioned the Ducks should listen on almost everyone because the rebuild might take a while, but who knows. Most teams haven't set who's available yet. |

So I'm stuck with the San Jose feed and they just mentioned that Horny now holds the record for the most games played by a player taken dead last in a draft hahah that's pretty awesome. |

Pens are playing a mosty very f'n solid game . Just need to bury a few....losing their leading goal scorer will be felt on scoreboards... |

Refs again refuse to give the Pens a power play for any reason, even a blatantly obvious one. |

I think JR should move swiftly to get back some scoring touch/finishing power on wing...not just wing it with what they have. Act now. You cant just replace a consistent, almost reliable, goal scorer like Jake from within. Obviously Sid is a huge piece back in when it happens soon but the cap space is there. Go for it JR. |

Surprised no Ottawa scouts. I wonder if Toronto is still scouting Jarry. Boston and Carolina are 2 teams that I can't see us trading with. |

Exactly. I'd say alot of teams are licking their chops about Sharks players this season .. |
