Team loss. Coulda gone either way. This isn't a bad loss if you're in the playoff chase, but when you're games behind it's a tough loss. Hawks likely are sellers at the TDL.

Hawks actually played a solid game in a lot of areas. Off to beddie.

New year, same old #2. Gave up the puck behind his net then went out to screen his goalie on van go ahead goal with 4 min left. For the loss and lost opportunity to gain on van. When the hell is he gonna see the press box because he flat out sucks. The most overrated player I’ve ever seen.

Two bad penalties, Lehner not very good.

Blew a two-goal lead. Tied it late - gave up a goal later. Lots of multi-goal leads given up (or almost given up) recently. They aren’t good enough to control a game with the lead.

While is always sucks losing to the Canucks there is no shame in losing to this group in Vancouver.

To your point, the Hawks are still finding their way and they’ll lose games like this in the process. We should see gradual improvement as the season goes on. The Hawks are not yet a playoff team, they will be, just not yet.
