Instead of the butterfly there, don’t they go into a “reverse HS” or something - right leg flat, left straight up on the post - covers the bottom and the post, easier to get to the high shot?

I think you're right. Lehner plays it up more. Of course he just naturally blocks more net given his size. Short side goals just really bug me. I'd rather see a guy over play the short side ever so slightly. If somebody picks the far post on me, especially top corner, I figure they earned it and chalk it up to a good/great/seeing eye shot

It looks like the Hawks are starting to wake up in the second period. We are now watching two ex Heavy Weights playing like Light Weights.
It is sad to watch Kane set up so many beautiful passes to his no name line mates and either they mishandle the pass or are not prepared to shoot. Kane would have had three assist if he had a few true NHL line mates.

Even one would be nice. It's criminal considering how many years he's paid his dues with less-talented line mates (the Toews/Sharpy and Panarin years being the exceptions). Guy spends every summer trying to get better (and does), then you shackle him to two anvils.
