11 players averaging half a point per game, fairly impressive for a team that had the fanbase frantic about no offense, after the Sedins retired.
Elias Brock Miller Bo Hughes Pearson Jake Edler Gaudette Leivo Roussel, 6 of these guys already in double digits for goals.
Hopefully the boys can keep it going. |

That trade may prove to be the single best move jb did for this team. Right up there with drafting boeser and petey - SMBDragon
Vrbata and Vanek?
No love for Hughes?

Props to Demko I thought he was gonna get shelled.
We are fine without the Sedins and we'll be fine when Edler-Tanev are gone for assets |

Yes and No - I think expectations were unrealistic from the start - mixed with the fanbases lack of patience = recipe for disaster. He's 23 on pace for 47 points - i'll take that any day.
some other players that put up similar points last year:
Jacob Vrana - 47 pts - 22yrs
Tyler Bertuzzi - 47 pts - 23yrs
Josh Andersson - 47pts - 24yrs
Konecny - 49pts - 21yrs
Tierney - 48pts - 24 yrs - Brooks_Light
I stand by my statement . The key words are "had been a disappointment."
Very few will complain about a 45 pt Jake but we were complaining about a 25 pt Jake.
Everyone is thrilled about his play this year . He has grown and I am very happy to see that.

Demko did a nice job. He smothered up the puck well, other than a couple miscues, that should be expected, he had a strong game.
This team is better with Edler-Tanev in the lineup, whether we like it or not.
Should be a interesting PLAYOFF run.π |

I have been a big Jake supporter, but I was starting to have my doubts, hopefully he continues his strong play. |

I see a healthy Tanev as someone Canucks could use to mentor OJ next year. That will disappoint the Trade Tanev group. |

I think most here were Jake supporters but patience were running thin. |

I think so too. Crazy to think fagemo and hoglander went in the 2nd round last draft, they are killing it |

It's pretty rare that 1st year goalies would be trusted to be a starter. They usually get ease them into it by their 2nd/3rd year (which seems to be the route the Canucks are taking with him).
Last year he started 9 games and 2 were bad. This year he's started 13 and had 3 (Col, PItts and Buff) poor games but still beat Buff. I think he's off to a pretty goddamn good start for a kid that has 25 games under his belt - on a young team.
As the team improves, I expect him to as well. Also, Ian Clark. Patience. |

Did anyone else hear the Smyl interview?
Pretty sure he said Hoglander could help us out now.
Maybe we see him sooner than expecTed. - Reubenkincade
He was talking about Pod when he said he could help now |

Once again, the voice of reason Vantel. I like what JV has done on the ice this season. I only hope he cleans up his act off the ice and doesn't warp anyone with his off ice antics. |

He could replace JV. I like pod's Ruschian machine attitude.... |

I hope JV ups his value, gets traded and then replaced in the lineup by Ruschian Pod.... |

This is definitely the first year of the rebuild where have had scoring depth. Took a while but this group can score for sure. Hoglander and podz are both possession/skill beasts from what ive seen. Very excited for the stretch but even moreso when for next year. |

Both Alberta teams are behind us in the standings.
Their fans are completely lost trying to figure it out.
The entire province is going through a reality check and Iβm loving every minute of it. |
