Regulation win and Van can start selling parts off.
Markstrom to SJ for Aaron Dell, 2nd '19, Chmelevski
Stecher to TML for lowest of MTL's 4 -4th round picks.
Tanev to WPG for Kulikov, 2nd '19, Kovacevic, Harkins
Beagle to NSH for Turris, Min 3rd '19
Schaller to FLA for Pysyk, 3rd '19 - manvanfan
That is a lot of trading
After seeing Markstrom playing so well and a few teams looking for Goalies I would look at moving Demko and bringing in MacIntyre for the rest of the year.
As some may hate it , this team needs Markstrom |

If marky signs a 4.5M x 5 years we trade demko and then sign halak as a back up? Quite a few UFA goalies this year. |

Markstrom isn’t going anywhere and neither is Demko. |

Agreed.
He will be resigned for 4-5 years at 5-6 million per, and he has earned it. |

Three years is a good number for the club, he’s 30 years old and Demko is the future. |

Not sure Demko makes it through the expansion draft, unless Benning gets creative...not sure he is capable of that. |

They won’t expose him. If Markstrom’s resigned he’ll be left unprotected in June 2021 imo. |

I think Markstrom will get at least 4 years and it is crazy to hold onto Demko 4 years as a back up when he has trade value.
Personally I am not a huge fan of Demko anyways. I think he is still far from being ready. He does have big games but he also can still be easily rattled. |

Trade one in the next year, I really don't want to go through another high drama goaltender situation. The next GM should excel at asset management. |

I think Benning’s too afraid to trade Markstrom as he’s finally seen some improvement after five years of losing. He probably should trade him before July 1st and go with Demko and an experienced backup, but he won’t, because he’s not very good at his job. |

It might just be he knows Demko is not good enough to carry the Canucks |

He doesn’t need to carry the Canucks, the team just needs solid goaltending, he’s proven to be a good young goaltender. Short memories but Markstroms had his share of troubles with consistency and he’s 30 years. |

Not short memories at all. He was terrible the season before last and that is exactly what you will get from Demko if you are building your team around him. This isn't NHL 19 GMs are trying to win.
Kevin Woodly still thinks Demko has a long way to go and truthfully so do I. |

You’re not building your team around Demko, he’s just a part of the team like every other player. As long as he gets a good back up to take the pressure off him, that’s the sensible way to go, at least in my opinion. Signing Markstrom creates troubles down the road, which is exactly what Benning will probably do because hes stupid |

I may be stupid but I can take a course to fix that. You are fat and ugly and you can only fix one of those |

People say I am Benning anyways
There are two ways you cn go with this but now that Markstrom has finally figured out to be a number one I will gladly take that for the next 4 years.
I remember watching Demko last year and thought he may never be a starter . He started off good this year in fact solid but he is going back to some bad habits. |
