Lets chat in 22 ok
- Nighthawk

No need to wait until then. His numbers say different. Plus he can learn from the best face off guy in the league (percentage speaking) right now.

AG is and will continue to be a fine NHL centre as long as he’s on the bottom two lines.

Just giving Reuby 2yrs to come around lol
In a perfect world AG becomes a legit 2c & that’s not a big stretch imo.

Our 2022/23 roster would look like this at center...

Pettersson
Zegras
Horvat

- Pacificgem

Zegras isn't a centre and don't need that soft skill poop.

Zegras 4 (spectacular) primary assists through 2 periods in only 4:44 TOI.

- DrChristianTroy

Where was he during the Canada game?

I saw Turcotte do a lot of board work and pass it to Zegras who made a spectacular Goldy like pass to a teammate for a goal.

Either you are Jim Benning or sloppy drunk.

SJ sinking like Codes hockeypool team, faster than a Middle Eastern sunset, time for Doug Wilson to rebuild. You've gotta pay for a kid like that, he had 75 points last year and he's headed for another 70+ point year.

Bo and Brock packaged would fetch a great return.
- bloatedmosquito

Doesn't bode well with Aquilini's 'get in and you can win' attitude.

(frank)in GM's will never learn. Primary years are right out of the ELC now. Old players used to get paid handsomely for what they'd done before, wise GM's will now sign guys to good contracts out of their ELC and then get rid of them in their late 20's.

In theory anyways.

I think the Owners/GM's of the Cali teams are always reluctant to blow it up because they're afraid of losing the casual portion of their fanbases. Especially SJ and ANA since they had decent ticket sales before the last few years.

Yeah it's a great theory. It just doesn't always work that way and I wouldn't be paying stars past 34.

Just pen a letter to the fans the same way Gorton did. Then do the opposite by signing Panny.

If I were a GM, I'd be a great one , I wouldn't ever pay anyone past the age of 33. Evander Kane's deal is perfectly fine with me. The kids a goal scorer and he'll be 33 the last year of his deal.

Scheifele and MacKinnon are two examples of smart deals out of an ELC.

I’m joking anyway. I just want to be part of the hysteria.

All indication is they are heading in the right direction. Just a lot of bumps and detours along the way so far. If JB was just a bit better at evaluating pro-talent we would be further ahead than we are now.

I find that irritating.
