He failed at 2C.

He failed with Mitts (in not putting him in Rochester starting last year. I'm not ready to call him a "bust", but I also wouldn't blink an eye if he was used to bring in an NHL center).

Imo, he's building this the correct way, though - through the draft, while filling holes in the meantime.

He's not perfect.

I think 68 has proven his worth, finally, 5v5. I had my doubts early on, but he seems to have gotten it.

On the other hand if botts was worried about his job, he would make a trade to improve the present, probably by mortgaging the future.

You can complain every posts, but botts is here to stay regardless of our record this season. And probably next season too.
