The NHL at least realizes that Buffalo is too valuable of a market to NOT have a team here. They are keeping the Coyotes in Phoenix - They 100% wouldn't have let Buffalo relocate.

Only thing i can think of is not wanting to pay ROR his bonus, which is understandable

Elliott Friedman was saying on his podcast (31 thoughts) just recently that he thinks the Hawks could start to consider moving PK88
He doesn’t think Toews will ever get traded though
