Still maintain beating out the Flames will do it. Oilers i don’t respect nearly as much.

This game was definitely a dominating effort by the Canucks. 2 posts and it seemed like it might be another night where it was close enough for McDavid to steal one, but that kicked in puck was the hockey gods respecting the effort.

Horvat's goal seemed good because his skate stayed on the ice after he turned it, but I've definitely seen cleaner goals waived off, so nice to be on the winning side of that one.

It was directed but not kicked, anyways good game, nice brand of hockey, Edler in there really helped defensively.

Nice to see the young core coming through with big goals, get a nice break now and come out flying against the kings.

Totally. Instead of the kick it was more of a scoop with the side of the skate... soccer like. Looks like the movement was an inch or two only. I've seen those go either way.

I thought the officiating sucked last night.

Even though he got a goal and an assist I thought Bo did very little. Boeser was was not good. I think he looks like he is putting on weight and not good weight. He looks chubbier and his reaction time is slower this year.

Seabrook has missed 4 games for no reason and Chigago are going to make an announcement soon. They are going to avoid their second recapture penalty.

The thing I didn’t like about the game was, when defending in their own zone the team collapses as a unit, they refuse to pressure the points and teams throw the puck around enough to create open lanes for quality shots.

I am mad at both of their play as of late but I like both players. I do know they are trying and I just want more finish to their game.

They are both a little behind their pace last year and I was hoping for better numbers.

Starting to look like the October Canucks ... special teams, secondary scoring all lines going and some ruff stuff and hits with great goal tending.
