Any of you know if the WJC will be streamed anywhere? Don't get NHLN 😕

I mean if you could find a TSN stream they will broadcast all of the games.

Perhaps trying NHL Reddit Streams come Boxing Day they’ll put links on there as well.

They'll probably keep him in Rochester. I wonder if Bales has worked with him because he was so-so in Cincinnati last year on a real good team. He has made a remarkable turnaround. And a 1.92 and a .935 has to lead the AHL.

Hutton has to be worried with Jonas breathing down his neck. Jonas's numbers are remarkable. If NJ can send Schneider to the minors, the Sabres can send Hutton down.

In a non ppr league do I start Austin Ekeler, or Mike Boone?

The Memorial cup ends in late March, right?

Late May. I don’t think Lethbridge is that good but they should win a playoff round or two.

me likes Rossi or Zary.
- mhp

Rossi could fall due to his size. Could be right there for us in the mid teens.

Just like I thought before the season started, they aren’t a bottom 10 team but they aren’t a playoff team either, unless they make the trade that everyone has been waiting for since July 1st.

I know the name of the game is winning, but I hear he's a strong locker room presence (maybe THAT'S the problem 😂). I just wonder if they would "do him like that".

I think people still sleep on Marcus Davidsson.

His trajectory is that of a bottom 6 center but he’s developed nicely and could be a pretty good player

I’m not as enamored with Asplund as others. I would include him with a d man or prospect if it meant a top 6 forward

I wish Hutton's contract expired this year.

The center prospects in this draft are under sized but all bring different qualities to the table. Just watch, we'll pick a dman.

I think Botts figured he'd have a decent goalie when he signed Hutton to 3 years, and theoretically timed it perfectly for UPL's arrival.

Maybe the Hamburgler is having a resurgence!

I’d include both in trade proposals. Asplund is a 4th C with 3C upside. Davidsson’s numbers haven’t progressed and I think he’s just another bottom 6 tweener at this point as well.

Too much time on my hands, or delaying the laying of sod in my yard (damn puppy is a digger, ughh!)

My 4 point plan, was inspired by the Givening America Away TV show the other night....

1) Trade Bogo, Scandella and Sheary now for anything you can get, don't risk letting them walk for nothing. The Asset gained here is CAP space to further enable 2 and 3 below to occur.)

2) Create a 2C trade package using some combination of Rhino, Miller/McCabe, Tage, 2020/2021 Pick, others if needed.
- ideas on targets would include: Chris Tierney, Senators, Ryan Strome, Rangers, Ryan Johanson, Preds, Andreas Athanasiou, Red Wings, Dylin Larkin, Red Wings, Vincent Trocheck, Panthers, Ryan Getzlaf, Ducks, Adam Henrik, Ducks
(Larkin would be my preference here, Tierny next, Trocheck after that)

3) Create a RW trade package using some combination from among Montour/Risto, Mitts, 2020/2022 Pick, others if needed
- targets: Alex Tuch, VGK, Josh Anderson, CBJ, Kevin Labanc, SJS, Rikard Rackell, Ducks, Kasperi Kapanen, TML, Tyler Toffoli, Kings
(Tuch would be my priority)

4) Free Agency to find a suitable 2/3RW...LaBanc?

2020-2021
Olofsson - Eichel - Tuch
Skinner - Trocheck - LaBanc
Mojo - Asplund - Cozens
Lazar - Larry - Okposo

They need to try something, cause Hutton isn't the answer even as a backup right now. Can Hammond handle the duties right now, he has had a pretty good stretch in Rochester

‘Twas the night before game day, when all through Gillette

Not a camera was filming, at least they weren’t yet

The game balls were placed in the locker with care

Just how I like them, without too much air

The receivers were nestled all snug in their cots

While visions of Tre White haunted their thoughts

And Bob in his towel, and I in my Uggs

Had just settled in for a nice rub n tug

When down on the field there arose such a clatter

I opened my sensory deprivation therapy chamber to see what was the matter

When what to my cold, dead eyes should appear

But 53 monsters that filled me with fear

When I saw them I gasped and my body got chills

I knew in a moment it must be the Bills

Like stampeding hooves, the coach’s claps they came

And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:

“Now, Beasley! Now, Brown! Now, Devin and Dawson!

On, Poyer! On, Hyde! On, Phillips and Lawson!

To the top of the East! We won’t stop til it’s done!

Let’s murder that weirdo who frenches his son”

All over the field the defensive backs flew

And they picked off each terrible pass that I threw

As I faked a handoff and was turning around

Up through the gut Oliver came with a bound

He was dressed in all white, from his helmet to cleats

And he yelled when he saw me, “You’re dead (frank)ing meat!”

He flung me with ease, right onto my back

It was not even halftime and he had his 3rd sack

Then back to the huddle he went with a jog

A bruise on my thigh, from his monster hog

And I heard him exclaim like a voice from on high:

“The process befalls you! Get ready to die!”

He’s not put in many offensive situations on his team though. He’s been pretty solid for them. Also has 3 less goals in 27 less games there as last year. He’s been getting better offensively

Olofsson at 22 years old was under a PPG there

I wonder if a guy like Mikael Granlund would be available. He hasn't produced the same since being traded to Nashville. In Minnesota his last two seasons he had 20+ goals and 40+ assists. Looks like he started as a center but maybe moved to RW? They traded Fiala for him and it kind of left a hole at the LW position. Also, their three RD have a combined age of 95 years old and they may look to get a bit younger there.
Granlund does have a relatively high cap hit, but will be a UFA. I would offer Sheary and McCabe, which would be nearly equal in salary. Whether Granlund plays center or RW it would help either way.
