it seems like an unnecessary step to and into the middle just to spare Green's job despite his mediocre results. What happens if DeBoer actually takes the assistant job by some miracle and the team turns it around, then DeBoer gets poached by another team as a head coach next summer?

You're right back too square one with Green and trying to convince anther better coach to work under Green again lol.


If the team continue to struggle over the next 2-3 weeks just let Green go and let someone else takeover and let your next coach build his own staff in the summer with people he works well with.

He's one of the teams best 12 forwards still. Soft a margarine but he plays in the right end of the ice, producing on the 2nd PP unit and can actually pass the puck better than 1/3 of the top 6 which desperately needs someone able to pass.

As long as he's in the system it makes no sense for LE to be up still and grinders being called up instead when this team has too many players like that in the line up already.
