Let's see take Zardorov right now, McNabb right know,JT Compher, Armia, 1st he traded for Lehner, half the picks he traded that could have been good players in are system, hey but who needs depth, cause we have so much of it
- Buff36

Dude what are those players doing? None of them are contributing to their teams in any meaningful way. Stop acting like we traded away a bunch of Vaneks, Murray traded trash and that's what they are now so this argument i not valid.

He traded guys who have done nothing since they were traded.

He traded for guys who got traded away and are what we need right now. A 2C and a power-forward.

Stop this.

Alex Nylander was the 8th overall pick. Without ROR we finish bottom 5, perhaps bottom 3.

We needed Botts when we committed to the tank, but perhaps we need GMTM now.

We rushed when we should have been patient, but now we are being patient when we should at least make one or two moves to try to make a run this year.

- Pegullaville

Could not agree more. I applauded GMTM for at least swinging for the fences. JBotts is Darcy all over again.

In case anyone wants to do something other than the game.

1 2 3 4 5 6 we want.....I honestly don’t know what I want at this point. Anyone know what the culture is? Like, what happens at the morning skate? Do just prance in and go through the motions? Is there any heart? Anyone except Jack get angry? Seems no one gives a poop, no emotion. Just pass go and collect your $200 pay check. Does anyone other than jack care about winning? Is it the owner so focused on Bills that she doesn’t give a hoot? Botts can flip his table but is scared to pull the trigger. Sure no one wants any of this garbage but how about at least purging some of the stank and get some new stank in, with some heart. At least that will entertain for a bit.
- riptheguard

IIRC, Krueger doesn't do morning skates and they basically just play soccer in the hallway.

Darcy built the President's trophy team. 😉

Botts gets another year, at least. Book it.

AV has the flyers playing heavy forecheck game so when they are confident they really pressure the puck.
Would have liked to see Eichel in.
We are missing Lindblom and Laughton as well.
Not comparing either to Eichel mind you. Just that Vorobyev, Andreoff, Kase and Kubel are essentially AHl players.

That's exactly 10 less AHL'ers than we have

I sincerely hope the whole team has the flu and they’re just all sick
- sbroads24

Just not Skinner, he would play better all by himself!! Let's check the analytics on that.

It’s pretty safe to say that Eichel is the best player in the league, hands down now

I now Pegs, but at the time when Murray got here, with the prospects and picks he had he was handed keys to a BMW, when Botts took over he was given keys to a Ford Escort, Botts needs to help his team, hopefully it happens soon

Mitts not panning out really franked the whole thing up. However he should have traded for a stop gap regardless.

He really might be the current best all-around player in the NHL and he looks like he has another level he has yet to hit.

WHAT ARE ALL OF THOSE PLAYERS DOING RIGHT NOW WITH ALL OF THEIR ART ROSS AND RICHARD TROPHIES??? PRAY TELL???
- BeadyEyedDouche

This is a really poor take at this point,

The problem is we dont have the depth we could have had OR the players we traded all of it to get

Its on both GMs, perhaps our owner as well

If the team is trying for the playoffs, they’d better hope Jack comes back soon.
If this season is another el tankereeno, maybe make sure he’s 150% before bringing him back.

No he was not oh my god

There's a reason they were the #2 ranked PROSPECTS and that's because they hadn't proven a thing at the pro-level.

Hindsight tells us they were all garbage except maybe Compher?

What are you talking about

Most of them have contributed on winning teams since leaving here regardless if some of them have continued to move around or not

So much so that im not going to even look it up to "prove" it
