If only we played well on special teams, it would only be 3-0 or maybe 3-1.

Make sure we blame it on that

- sbroads24

maybe it's lack of 5v5 scoring

3 drafts and 3 off seasons and this is what he came up with.

It's frankly embarrassing

- jcragcrumple

I guess I’m looking at the rebuild of the entire system and restocking the cupboards. The team should be closer and he should have made a move by now. But he has still made a couple ok moves. I just think there needs to be another experienced hockey mind in the room....

Clearly this team can not function under the current structure. So, Fire botts, add a new gm, in the current structure, that gm fires Ralph, brings in his guy... the gm isn’t given the proper structure to succeed, rinse, repeat.... same crap.....

Add a president.... give botts an experienced hockey mind to work with not an owner who’s still learning.

On the last flyers road trip they lost all three games. One game they played well the other two sucked. They got killed with garbage goals ie. multiple deflections.
Tonight it is balancing out. Three of their goals were lucky.

Reminiscent of the recent NJ game. Except, you know, the opposite. Didn’t the coach get fired next day? Not saying Ralph gets canned but if tonite isn’t an eye opener, then my god this team is run by a bunch of blind mice.

I wasn't happy when GMTM got fired - I think all sports, especially hockey with the development curve, should have a 3-year window for a new hire to really be able to assess what they are doing.

I wasn't happy when we hired nacho-man GM Botts as his replacement.

That being said. I was not throwing gas on the "Fire Botts" fire at any point this season.

Can I hang out with some of you guys now? I have seen the light. This man has done NOTHING for this team and his defenders constantly blame Tim Murray for squandering our depth and assets.

Remind me again what the players he traded are doing right now for their teams?

Meanwhile, the guys he did bring here are now traded and one won a Stanley Cup, and the other has turned into the Power-Forward we absolutely need right now.

But Kane looked at a Pegula girl's ass and said "Dayum" and ROR wanted to be captain so f u c k 'em, right? Who needs winning when we have Eichel.

- BeadyEyedDouche

Kane was already the power forward we needed when he was here

Oreilly is everything any team always needs and doesnt come around but a few names every 10 years

We are getting manhandled, stop being nice. I thought Philly's window closed last year but this season you've been a good team.

We (frank)ing blow. Eichel is the MVP at this point, there is no question. He's our only good player at this point.

What the (frank) do you think Murray did, jesus he made 22 trades when he was GM. Darcy handed him the keys to the 2nd ranked prospect pool and a poop ton of picks. And he traded it all away. He is just as much to blame for this poop show as Botts.

Who ever said 5v5 scoring wasn’t important ? The whole argument was that special team goals count all of the same.

It seems that the Flyers can pressure more because of no offensive threat from the Sabres.

Let's see take Zardorov right now, McNabb right know,JT Compher, Armia, 1st he traded for Lehner, half the picks he traded that could have been good players in are system, hey but who needs depth, cause we have so much of it

1 2 3 4 5 6 we want.....I honestly don’t know what I want at this point. Anyone know what the culture is? Like, what happens at the morning skate? Do just prance in and go through the motions? Is there any heart? Anyone except Jack get angry? Seems no one gives a poop, no emotion. Just pass go and collect your $200 pay check. Does anyone other than jack care about winning? Is it the owner so focused on Bills that she doesn’t give a hoot? Botts can flip his table but is scared to pull the trigger. Sure no one wants any of this garbage but how about at least purging some of the stank and get some new stank in, with some heart. At least that will entertain for a bit.

AV has the flyers playing heavy forecheck game so when they are confident they really pressure the puck.
Would have liked to see Eichel in.
We are missing Lindblom and Laughton as well.
Not comparing either to Eichel mind you. Just that Vorobyev, Andreoff, Kase and Kubel are essentially AHl players.

Lot of d depth... tage, mitts, Cozens, roustilian, pekar... he’s gone d heavy simply because they take longer to develop? While adding two top picks down the middle, granted, he miss handled mitts and tage for that matter. But that’s where I think another experienced hockey guy can talk him into making the better decisions... like sending tage and mitts down sooner, realizing the value of bogo, making a move on the d line by October?

Alex Nylander was the 8th overall pick. Without ROR we finish bottom 5, perhaps bottom 3.

We needed Botts when we committed to the tank, but perhaps we need GMTM now.

We rushed when we should have been patient, but now we are being patient when we should at least make one or two moves to try to make a run this year.
