Speaking of what if's. If Horton doesn't die, do we beat Philly in '75? Toughness was largely our issue, not speed or scoring. Goaltending wasn't elite, but it was good. Can't help thinking Horton keeps Philly in line, and they eventually get the better of Parent.

I'm not saying it's great, and I don't know how we make the money work, but how about a package deal for both Toffoli and Kempe? Both fill an immediate need, with one of the two having a contract beyond this season.

I strongly disagree with having The Winter Soldier below any movie other than The Dark Knight. It's an insult to see Civil War and Ragnarok ahead of it.

People seem to love this movie. I thought it was brutal, a little over 2 hours but feels longer than Apocalypse Now Redux plus Lawrence of Arabia.

No, our goaltending was suspect. Roger Crozier was not that healthy and older. Also, we were out coached. Fred Shero was a great coach.

Had a group of kids (21-23yrs old) at the bar the other night talking about that movie. I had to explain to them that “you guys realize that the movie is loosely based on a true story”? They were clueless and said now it makes more sense.
