So Montreal believes drouin will be a better superstar and ok with letting hall go..... so even if Avs have “interest” why the hell post it? No where in there does it say mtl will consider it or avs are planning On a offer.

This more than anything seems like it trying to bait people into clicking the story and bring in traffic, and ashamed to say I fell for it as well.

I agree. Habs missed on bringing an offensive winger, so instead they'll trade theirs out? Should that make a Drouin trade less likely, not more?

Since the beginning of (NHL ) time until the end of (NHL) time. They r the only 2 teams that really matter and if you are not a fan of one and hate the other you sadly are missing out on THE rivalry in hockey and Canada. I expect you will be mad and indignant upon reading this absolute truth though lol.
- TML IS ALL THAT MATTERS

Let me guess the 2 teams - Thrashers and Panthers?

Clearly it will be an upgrade to Ceci as Cody would be going back in exchange for Vatanen. Leafs would send a pick back. If NJ retains then the pick would be higher.

How the F*&K are the Leafs going to add him to the payroll?

….oh I get it - NJ is going to retain 95% of his payroll

Gonna do the Leafs a Solid

You do realize the Leafs can trade picks and prospects packaged with a guy like Ceci, right?

GM's can be creative.

When the Leafs played in Vancouver the start time was 7pm EST??

Habs are in Hongcouver tonight, start time...10pm EST...?

Why is the NHL punishing home teams just to pander to their Rogers overlords?

If you can't win when the league is there holding your hand...oh boy..

Very sus indeed

well....theres always the fact that Eichel has turned outto be twice the player Matthews is....at a lower price

but the point is...noone said the Sabres are a superpower like Leafs fans say about their team.

- ThundernLightning

So by your logic the Leafs can only celebrate team success (playoff round wins) yet Sabres fans can celebrate individual success (Eichel having a moderately more successful half season than Matthews)?

Makes sense.

Whats up with Droiun? I thought he was the next superstar but hes getting passed around like no one wants him?
- Leniwm1

He had a nice start this season, but got injuried. Habs lost 8 in a row when he went down.

The guy has skills and is a very good player at times. But yeah, at times.

Showing my age but I will forever remember the "fergy flyer" scoring in game 3 of overtime in 1979 to beat the Sabres!!

Yep but you would have to get very creative for a GM to be dumb enough to take Ceci

haven't won a playoff round in the cap era, and currently sitting outside of a playoff spot.............superpower.

there is literally no team in the NHL who's had less success than the leafs in the last 15 years.

- haywoodjablome

at least the Leafs have made the playoffs 3 years in a row unlike that clown team from Montreal who has missed in 3 of the last 4 years.
Hab fans have zero justification to make fun of the Leafs when your team can't even qualify for the playoffs which is a joke. At least the Leafs took a good Washington team to 6 games & then back to back 7 games with a good Boston team....

ya, those Sabres are really buring up the league the last few years, go put out some more fires in Barfallo!
Plus the guy in this pic would be the best looking guy in Buffalo if he lived there.

get your facts straight before you start crying like a typical Habs fan, the Leafs were in Vancouver on December 10, 2019 & the start time was also 10 p.m. Eastern...
