I love Ross.. but I have seen enough of him Barzall's wing.

We all know Ross doesn't belong on Barzal's wing. But, the 3 or 4 games before he got there Barzal was getting beat up, and some of the hits were not clean. Since Ross has been playing on his wing I have not seen anything over the edge, I did not see the Dallas game though .So I believe he is serving the purpose, for now, which Trotz intended. Against Buffalo , Barzal and Dahlin were going at it but that was on Barzal too.

I’m not a big believer in this theory. Barzal has made it this far without Johnston on his wing if someone wants to take him out they will. Johnston won’t stop it from happening.
