This team stands a shot as it's currently constructed but a 3c really would help that 3rd line and make them legit. This is as close to take a run as they have been in years, decades lol

Pageau has been on isles Twitter for a while now. I reffed him down here during the lockout and he was really good along with zibinijab amd silfverberg Hoffman stone ect. He stood out

I’m wondering(hoping)if that’s why Lameriello didn’t go hard(if he in fact didn’t?) after Hall? Maybe he had his sights on Pageau the whole time? I know this is shooting for the stars but if we could get Pageau and a legit 3rd line winger that would be huge. Never happen with the additional winger due to our existing roster but man a dude can dream.

I agree with upstate the time is now to make something happen as far as Lameriello goes. This team is ready. We have some players in their prime some of whose play will diminish over the coming years. To not do anything to improve this team for a push would be pretty terrible.

They already play consistently well over long periods nashville wasnt that bad the goalies were just off. To me they seem to outplay teams most nights and control the flow and style of play. Their weakness is a solid 3rd line and yea they could use a scorer but they still manage to put pucks in the net more than the opposition. If they could get a 3rd mine that can contribute offensively while playing their style they have a shot at ecf

He has been fantastic. Completely blown away how he progressed I never saw it coming. Couldn’t stand the guy I thought he would bounce in and out of the line up in all honesty for the rest of his career and go the way of Bruno Gervais😂

I thought it was a pretty even game, more or less. Tight-checking, not a lot of space...good game all around. Had a little bit of a playoff vibe to it. Varlamov was excellent, ridiculous save notwithstanding.

Problem is there is some news that Pageau may actually want to sign an extension with the Sens.
Lets hope it just BS and there's a chance to get him.
