It’s just getting tiresome our guys always seem to get screwed. Same poop with Voracek last year. Got 2 games (at a crucial time) for bouncing off a check and that same play happened during the playoffs and was praised!

The talking heads on Sportsnet also thought the NHL screwed this one up. They went on a rant that Farabee deserves at least 5 games.

My guess is an appeal is coming and he'll get it down to two, if not one.

DOPS is an absolute joke with a terrible track record for handing out consistent punishment.

Why wouldnt we be? Lindblom is gone for the year. Konecny and NoPa have no timetable. We do need bodies to fill the roster until Raffl, Laughton and Pitlick return as well. Kovalchuk couldnt be any worse than Stewart to be honest either.

3 games is excessive. I could see one at the most. Puzzling.

I think this team should consider a waiver claim on Kovalchuk. In theory, yes, playing the kids sounds like a good idea but this team was built to make the playoffs and make a run. Losing Lindblom is a titanic loss. We have no idea what’s going on with Patrick. I think Konecny has the best chance at returning but I would be lying if I was sure of this. Our depth stinks. Our Power Play needs an upgrade. There is no reason not to think about it. Kovy isn’t what he was but maybe he’ll have a Jagr effect.

The league cares about player safety only when it involves players not heavily involved in their bottom line.

Most don’t know what a Farabee is so the hammer was thrown down. The league can use this even further as an example of being tough on players that break player safety rules.
