Why wouldnt we be? Lindblom is gone for the year. Konecny and NoPa have no timetable. We do need bodies to fill the roster until Raffl, Laughton and Pitlick return as well. Kovalchuk couldnt be any worse than Stewart to be honest either.

Worst thing this team could do is make a big move just for the sake of getting into the playoffs.

Tampa and Edmonton are not laughing at any banks.

Two of the young building blocks that were going to be part of the nucleus of this team going forward may never play again.

The situation the Flyers are in not only has ramifications on the present, but the future as well.

I've never seen anything like the black cloud that hovers over this franchise.
The type of cancer Lindblom was diagnosed with affects about 1 per million people a year.

i've been on the Morin is a bust train for a long time. Bahl's ceiling is maybe complimentary top 4 defensive defenseman. more likely becomes a half way decent 3rd pairing guy.

Merkley couldn't crack that Arizona line up and wasn't exactly lighting up the AHL. ceiling is maybe 3rd line center one day.

Schnarr, another guy who maybe becomes a bottom 6 guy one day.

a bunch of giant question marks with Bahl probably being the most likely to have some kind of prolonged NHL career. not great.
