Wow

And people in here think I'm too easy on JB

If you evaluated every GM through this lens, no GM would ever get fired

- Nucker101

He has built a strong base for a long-run at competitiveness. You can't let him go now without allowing these players mature a bit. Next year is the deciding year as Boeser and Petey should start hitting their stride. As long as they are close to the last wild card spot and competitive JB is safe. Next year is a different story.

BB will never be a JTM in terms of playing style. Bad comparison.

Amuse me, what kind of return would Brock get during the season or say at the TDL? poops and giggles...

- bloatedmosquito

Not talking about style though, I'm talking about maturing as a player.

I'm probably the wrong guy to ask about trades, I wouldn't trade him unless it was an overpay. I see no reason to move him in a equal trade for the sake off change. He's a low maintenance and humble kid off the ice(not a big ego like Leafs stars) and has chemistry with both EP and Horvat.

I'm interested to see what the fans who want to trade him would suggest. I have a feeling it's going be trades that other teams wouldn't make.

No offense dude, but you think Boeser plays a great all around game and just absolved JB of almost all blame during his worst stretch as GM. People aren't going to take you seriously if you have such rose-coloured glasses about your favourite team.

Nothing personal, but it's true.

I would not be surprised to see a trade next week. Canucks clearing cap space and 10 scouts at the game.

I wonder how serious FA is about playoffs this season. If they don’t make it, will he go ballistic and clean house or just accept it as growing pains?

How can you say this? Have you not said WTF? after a GM has made a trade at some point in the last 5 years?

I think I say it after every trade.

I think he has too much upward potential that its tough. I think maybe only a high first round pick and a 2nd would be feasible. Unless another high potential young is available but that aint happening.

Well if you're suggestion is to trade all Canuck players for better players then I don't think you'll find much of an argument.

QH looking tired to me. Extra lazy in his own end and no real jump. Need to reduce those minutes I think.

Also BH whining about the ref then floating to the bench is a beta move.

Anyways, still a fan boy, but struggling!

You are saying Boeser does not play an all around game? How closely do you watch the games? Pay a little more attention to Boeser's play. I didnt absolve JB but i made good counter arguments for all of those 8 points. Please counter them. Sutter has not been good when healthy? You not happy with the base JB has built (BB, Petey, Hughes, Demko). He has made mistakes but the plus' more than outweigh the negatives.

Tanev, Markstrom, Edler, Benn, Stecher, Pearson, Beagle, Schaller.

They are all worth something.

Do you think there is a huge difference between BB and KC? Stats are quite similar.

What makes KC’s game so much better than Brock’s that it would make a trade scenario unlikely?
