Has Benning ever sold high on any of his trades?

Lack, Hansen and maybe Garrison?

I wouldn’t call Burrows a true sell high since he was struggling/declining already and Ottawa knew what they were getting. Lack for sure fell off after getting traded though. TB fans liked Garrison during his first year there but I think he started slowing down after that.

I think it's a moot point, as Green will be the coach until the end, or near the end of the season even if they miss the playoffs.

If they miss, I think someone new comes in next year, which would be good timing imo.

They are grooming Trent Cull, he should be ready next season.

It's a lot for Arizona to give up if what I am seeing is true.

But a far superior talent.

You deserve credit for being the only Benning apologist to post since that awesome weekend road trip.

Mackinnon is also better than Miller and Hall for that matter. What’s your point?

My point is that the Canucks paid what it took to get Hall to get Miller. I'm sorry it wasn't clear for you, you must be day drinking pool-side in Arizona.

Did they? No it’s a silly narrative that you are trying to initiate. I’ll explain:

Canucks paid:

1st (top 15 protected) and a 3rd for a 4 years of cost certainty for a 26 year old.

Coyotes paid:

First (only top 3 protected), 3rd, and a blue chip prospect for half a season of Hall, a 28 year old.

How are the prices the same? Even comparing 1/2 a season to a 4 contract is absurd regardless of whether or not the price was the same. Clearly AZ paid more.

This isn’t about defending Benning, it’s about calling out a BS narrative...and I love narratives

Edit. I think it’s a poor trade for AZ but I hope it works out. Go coyotes!

According to TSN it's:
Conditional 1st 2020
2021 third
Forwards Nick Merkley and Nate Schnarr
Defenceman Kevin Bahl

Conditional 1st becomes 2021 unprotected if AZ picks in the top 3 this year

Yes, what I said. I think bahl is the main piece plus the picks.

It worked. I was trying to get someone angry. I think Taylor Hall looks funny and I don't care enough about the Coyotes to even hate them.

You'd have to think they feel they can extend him, otherwise they were Benninged.

I’m not angry, just got a new job it’s a foolish trade but it’s nice to see AZ go for it finally.
