He still looks good, that was a great shot. Vegas is just a much better team than we are at this point. Deeper, more talented, veteran team. - Pacificgem
It showed tonight. Canucks were only able to hang in there but not match up to give any real push. They only have a few days to figure out how to play Vegas better. |

He leads the team in hits?
Get Sutter, Schaller and LE off of this roster and out of the bottom 6 rotation. At least guys like Virtanen/Motte/Roussel/Ferland will finish a check.
Sutter, Schaller, Beagle, Leivo, Gaudette love their fly bys - Nucker101
Put LE in Svenville...waivers
Sutter at the TDL
Schaller won’t be back
Gaudette needs a good winger... |

If he's our heavy we're done - VanHockeyGuy
You don't make a group of pussies stronger by replacing one of their few physical players, you do it by taking out the weak links at the bottom, no?
I doubt a team like the Blues would have a problem with Virtanen in their bottom 6.
The goal is to keep Virtanen but no longer have him as your hit leader. Have him move down the totem pole and then you're set. |

More like he took advantage of a few GM’s. Won’t be so easy for Seattle. |

I won't debate this. You can watch them get dismantled in real time in the unlikely event they make the post season. |

There's nothing to debate lol. If I see a group of nerds that I'm in charge of making tougher, I start by replacing the biggest wussy, not the one who actually has some balls once in awhile.
pretty simple concept |

Just gotta keep drafting and developing. Pettersson is 20, Horvat is 24, Boeser is 22, Miller is 26....there’s still a lot of miles left on those young kids. |

Exactly
I'm suggesting that the Canucks stand more to gain if they replace a player who averages less than 1 hit per game instead of the one who averages almost 2 per game |

Ferland was supposed to be that answer. Maybe why JB is beating the need another winger drum.
Not easy to find a physical forward to play the top 6. Wonder if he's the dark horse in the Hall sweepstakes with the trade still up for grabs. |

End of 2021 season is earliest you could see Podz. By then who knows what changes would have happened. So many so far and more likely as there isn't much patience in this fan base or ownership. |

That Juolevi pick is haunting the team right now. Tkachuk Horvat Boeser would be, at the very least, a decent second line. Or Miller Horvat Boeser...just so many more options with another quality top six forward.
Pettersson with Tkachuk and Virtanen would work too imo. |

Only good thing about this game is brock got 2 more points lol, hughes with 2 assists, petey with 1, jake scored and mikey looked good in there albiet no pressure lol. |

I’m well aware of Pod’s contract. Changes are normal as for the fan base I don’t consider them all to be fans. Contracts expire & prospects push for spots. When it comes to patience it starts when the roller coaster of fan emotions temper greatly. |

It depends on who Jake is. Lately he is an asset and part of the future. Before he was Jake the flake or Jake the fake. |

He’s been good this season. Not amazing, but the kind of depth player that the Canucks need. Reasonably solid, reasonably physical and able to move up the lineup in case of injury or if the coach wants to shake things up. That’s the kind of player the Canucks are short on. |

A lot of Benning’s moves are haunting this team. A lot of his moves are reason for hope. Not sure which side of the ledger he ultimately falls on. But yeah, Tkachuk would fit like a glove on this team. |
