Would you trade Cozens for Cirelli?

That's the kind of deal that would likely involve Cozens.

I was going to say Mittelstadt, but he's fallen so far out of favor that everyone would say yes to that.

borgen, johansson, and a second probably gets you cirelli

maybe have to swap the second for davidsson

Since they changed the draft lottery odds three years ago, a team outside the bottom 10 has won a top 3 pick.

The Flyers, Carolina, and Chicago.

I dont see them dropping 5 spots after a trade.
A protection will greatly reduce the quality of player coming back.

sign a long term 8 year contract

expect to play with eichel and get in the hall of fame

instead buried on the 4th line with echl-rod

I'd be pissed too

Cirelli is really really good

one of the few people I would overpay for

- homiedclown

Reminds me of how i feel about Point.
Is he really good or is his team really good?

Cause when you win and have great talent that makes others look great you can trade them for assests who think they are a lot better than they really are.

That won't get you Cirelli but Mitts a pick and another player will.

Johansson as in the goaltender or Marcus?

I have a difficult time believing a 2nd round pick, Borgen, and whichever of the above would be enough for Cirelli based on how much Tampa likes him.

They will make other moves to clear cap space to extend him.

We all agree we need help, but unfortunately cap strapped teams are not gonna make trades right now unless we blow them away with a offer, and unless it's a overpayment they are not giving up young controllable assets, especially Centers. Botts needs to do something, but his hands are tied just as much as 24 other GM's are, and the other teams left that do have cap space are waiting to pounce on a GM to make that mistake and overpay.

That was a bloodbath, fellas. Those two Matthews goals....YOWZA. Ullmark was a stud

Eichel is ridiculous, but what the hell happens if he gets hurt?? Is Jeff Skinner alive?

Skins was doing it on his own for the first part of the season. He needs to regain his confidence and score goals.

I was %100 on resigning him. He needs to score, no excuses.

I wonder if Matthews texts Eichel and asks him for tips on how to play hockey

I like the player.

But is Cirelli really that good when you're watching him on a daily basis? You know, like many on here do (and b!tch about) with Dam, Skinner, Dahlin, etc etc....

If I'm the gm, I'm still not trading Cozens or UPL for him.

johansson has not been the same since the injury

that doesn't help

then splitting johansson from skinner makes zero sense

I would not be shocked if skinner asked for a trade by Feb if things don't change

he wants to score goals and win

I'm fine w Borgen and the pick.

Trading away Johansson? Even though he's been rough lately, that's still 40-50 points you're taking out of the lineup.

You're just spinning your wheels at that point.

The point is to ADD to the talent we have, not make lateral moves.

Very true 39, there were a few teams that were playing pretty poopty, Wild- Flames-Predators that might have been good trade partners, but they have all picked up there games. So I think Botts waited to long, but just my opinion.

cirelli is the real deal for complete complementary player

they have bumped him up and rewarded him with more ice time, and a little more pp time

he does a lot of the little things right, under rated penalty killer

picture a young mike peca on the wing

I would move pretty much any prospects other then cozens or 6k for him
