What’s the corresponding move? Or is it give Asplund more time

Center position of
Eichel
Asplud
Larsson
Erod

- ImThatGuy

That is curious. I dont think anyone is coming back from injury. Maybe they're just gonna go with 22 guys

I’d like to see Lazar called up- looked like he belonged in his brief time here

Makes sense. They can always continue to run the 11F 7D and still have a forward scratched.

Something is going to happen with Bogo. That is going to become toxic if it doesn't. He wants to show that he can still play in his contract year somewhere. Pilut can be called up and should be. Stashing him in Rochester isn't going to last forever.

JB has to get things sorted out on the D and use some of the depth to add strength up front.

The problem is that Bogo likely gets nothing of value. I'm all for getting rid of Bogo, but maybe in addition to that, Miller and a pick could bring back a real forward

With 12 NHL Dmen, and weighted on the right, I think he deals RhD Bogo for a LhD.
Jason likes it deep on defense.

I mean just getting his cap hit off the books for the rest of the year could be beneficial enough to facilitate another move.

for those of you who wanted buffalo to trade for Vancouver's sven Baertschi, he's now on waivers...
- Michael Pachla

Mitts on waivers leaves Buffalo with $3.4M in cap space. Baertschi has a cap hit of $3.36M.

I don’t really care much for Sven, nor do I think we’ll claim him but it’s something to think about.

That's like $9.3m on defense coming in for the trade partner..man, that's a lot of bread.
I can't imagine any team giving up anything g right now for Bogo. He looks horrible out there.

Jason should be in no hurry to appease Bogo, he has more important issues to address, like a viable 2C and a 2RW. He should tell his friggin' Agent he us free to work out a deal for a 2nd in 2020 or better.

A move like that leaves the Sabres next to no flexibility if someone gets injured, let alone it makes trading for any talent extremely difficult.

Move Bogo for anything

Then work with about $9 million to add a second line center using picks prospects and another blueliner.

It was just a freak coincidence, nothing more. I don’t expect them to claim him just thought it was interesting.

Agreed.
Yet, me being a major wiener in these situations would want something of decent value back...4th or better. Ain't getting it I know...but (frank) him, if he thinks he is above the team, then certainly somebody must be willing to part with a freakin' 4th..tell him to go find it...oh, and practice for healthy scratches starts at 6:00am and then again at 6:00 PM . Asshat.

You guys remember when a bunch of people wanted us to trade for Ehlers and a few on here talked about how he sucked? He just scored his 14th of the year. With that being said, give me Galy, Frolik or anyone for that matter as long as they are taking Bogo back!

Ex Sabre Vladimir Tsyplakov passed way, age 50.

Some of you might remember him from their cup run in 1999. He scored 33 points in 70 games for the Sabres. Apparently, he has had health issues over the last several years.

He was a good player for the Kings. Always thought the Sabres misused him.

Sorry I meant to say loaned to Rochester. It still frees up a bit more cap space though.
