Kovy wanted to win. He got paid a lot of money on a 3 year deal to help a team win. If he truly wanted to win he would have taken a million bucks and played for a legit top team.

I like the looks of this Dallas team, but if I'm GM, I pass and wait a tad longer. Going to be a few teams out of the play-off picture by Christmas. Get a much better piece then when teams want to clean up their roster.

Reference was made based on how the relationship soured between Mike and Kyle. Near the end, I sincerely doubt that Babcock was willing to entertain any fresh ideas from a much younger GM. Their relationship soured big time when Muzzin was taken aboard. And snowballed from that point on.
