FYI I saw 3 live practice in the falls during training camp that year. Oz didn't even know which way he was supposed to be looking. He didn't look echl level in those practices but he got 50 games and was atrocious in them.

Over a full season that will never work. And damn, their cap situation is HORRIBLE given the AHL quality on that roster.

Leafs can litterally trade anyone off their roster to make room. No other team near the cap can say that (16 of 31 are at 500K of the cap max). But Leafs are posterbosy for "Cap Hell". HAHA

No one was a fan of marincin, i hated him too. But dubas kept him in the system with the option to use him in the nhl. So he was used.
Unfortunately.
As for holl, ive always liked his simple play, so whatever led to where he is now, has worked.

You brought up hindsight I'm saying that I was saying oz and marincicn were brutal last year and shouldn't be playing, but some here saying that questioning Babcock on player usage is hindsight. It's not hindsight if you've been saying it for a long time.

Again, here's the Babcock played marincicn so it was right choice. irony at it finest saying someone ability to see hockey skill is low, coming from the guy that can't say anything his own just "Babcock did it so it's right"
