They will move him problem is,who wants him ? why play him if he wants out or just so he can " find his game". Very strange, he should have went to Botterill in private and explained how he felt and his issues. Acting like a baby because " you feel" that you should not be a healthy scratch is not a good look. Bogo is not bigger then the team and Kruger has made that point very clear. No, I do not play him tomorrow.

89' - i agree with all of your comments on Bogo. I find it laughable that Bogo now that he supposed to be this great team player in the locker room. If he is so great, why did he just throw the whole team under the bus because of his "me first" attitude. Waive him to the minors and let him rot.

"I have no fear or no sleepless nights because of minor conflicts within the group," Krueger said. "What we need to do is react to them. Our character is tested in conflict and our personality actually grows and develops in these kinds of situations, so that's what we'll do."

"I'm a leader that's not here to be popular at all. It doesn't interest me on the day," Krueger said. "The past is not the present. It is the past. And we will work with the present and what you're doing today. What you're giving the team today will decide where your role is, what your minutes are and how much you are playing a part in our process.

"It's not that I'm cold. I'm doing what I know I need to do as a leader to get the most out of this group and to find the potential of the Buffalo Sabres and that's what I move to do every day."

Krueger got fired up today. Bogo pissed him off

Excellent article by Harrington in the Buffalo News. My respect for Krueger has gone up about 1000% after reading this. He gets it.

Life as a hockey fan becomes a whole lot simpler when you finally embrace the inherent randomness that's in the game. As physically gifted and skilled as the players are today, there are many different things that need to come together to create a goal, some of which are ultimately out of their control. A random bounce here or there, and the outlook for a player's stat line can change dramatically.

Devils goalie got pulled from a shutout ......

Bogo Hutton for Domingue/ hall. E91 (sarcasm)

- Sabretooth9

Ari thinks Hall is getting traded to them today. One piece they’d be sending back was a goalie, so this makes sense

"I believe we haven't seen the best Zach Bogosian and my job is to find the best Zach Bogosian for our team so we'll continue to do that," Krueger said. "And after 10 games for him to slip a bit after such a long break and to need some breathing time to take another step up, that opportunity is there. The players decide what their ice time and their roles are as a team. Not I."

When somebody leaked to TSN just before faceoff Thursday that Bogosian told the team he wanted out, you should have seen the eyes rolling around the press box and across social media.

Sounds like he’s “sub tweeting” Bogo in that statement alone.

Jonas is a dumb, especially when stated as a “y” instead of a “j” sound. Therefore he’ll never be anything more then a scrub. Move along

I think bogo draws back into the line up today.

We'll see.

#1- keep Jack happy

Everyone is acting like they never lost their temper and handled a situation improperly. A sincere apology goes a long way to rebuilding his reputation.

Laval peppered Jonas in the 3rd, 18 shots. This team gets contributions from different players every night, nice to see.

If Jonas finishes the season and playoffs strong, he has to be considered for a job here next year.

And 6K won last night for Cincy. Portillo will start for Sweden in the WC. Some decent goaltender depth in the or-guh-nye-zay-shun.

We have really good defensive prospect depth as well. Bryson, Borgen, Samuelson, Johnson, Fitzgerald, Laaksonen, Kukkonen (who got cut from Finland in the last round of cuts for WJC)

Keeping Jack happy not only isn't above the team, it's not something that Jack would overstep his bounds over. He's an employee, and they kept him happy with his paycheck. Ralph made it abundantly clear to whoever wants to listen that he's in charge and good for him, it's what I think we all believe the team needs to take the next step.

#1 is simple. Keep winning.

Inserting Bogo into this lineup does not help them achieve #1. Therfore, let him rot.

Does he apologize publicly, or have his agent leak that to the press also, lol?

I couldn't care less about this, and am a bit surprised by the strong reaction here, should be more of an eyeroll IMO.

He's a pending UFA in a contract year who is recovering from major surgery to parts of his body that are essential to playing. I can see him wanting to play 65 minutes a night in order to regain as much of his skating and skillset before the TDL. Big deal, one of the 12 NHL defensemen asked for a trade, and went public to force the transaction to occur more quickly.

I am surprised he didn't inform his best friend before doing so...seems like if they are so tight, they would have already talked about it as an option...tells me this was purely reactionary...a poor reaction, but again who cares...he was getting traded at the TDL anyway for what 3rd, 4th 5th...which now becomes a 5th or 6th?
Move on.

And another thing, he was playing poopty, but just coming back from Hip Surgery you would think he would get a game here and there off for maintenance anyways.

The Ravens and 49ers run the ball more than anyone else and play top 5-10 defence.

Both are tops in their conference.

Eye roll is the appropriate reaction. Krueger made clear what the expectations of his squad are, and friendship is no part of the equation.

Friendship stands down in multimillion dollar transactions.

Agreed. Botts has drafted well and the prospects are developing nicely.

I wonder if Samuelsson will make the jump to pro next year. Same for Laaksonen.
