Yeah, that sounds accurate. I didn't know too much about such things back then. Just that he was quite exciting to watch and I love good defense (simultaneously making it hard to be a Ranger fan )!!

Yup, he was the beginning of having a QB be a threat as an extra running back. Dude was an athlete

Cunnigham was good, but I don't think a QB fumbled more when he decided to run. Never protected the ball.

The year he and Ricky Watters played together the ball hit the ground more than a Misty May volleyball match!

Ricky was also ahead of his time. If he played today, he'd be in high regard with how good a receiving back he was. Guy was Reggie Bush before Reggie Bush. Of course he was saddled with Rich Kotite and Ray Rhodes

Hoffman would be a good addition, but he is going to cost some bucks. Granlund too

Great back, Eagles also had Keith Byars in his prime, very underrated FB. Ran, caught, blocked, could throw the left handed option pass better than anyone and a great teammate. Jets had him very late in his career, was like a player/Coach. He might have thrown the most devastating block I ever saw on Pepper Johnson of the Giants in 1990 at the VET. Destroyed him, never forget the Eagle crowd going nuts

If any of you bastards care, had my follow-up today. Healing well and no more splint. Can't hold more than a phone, and start PT and go back 1/14. My left arm looks like a goddamn Ethiopian.

Thanks fellas, got a right arm for that pint, in fact we're heading to the Asbury Park Brewery tonight to test it out at Coward's final show.

Lundqvist starts tomorrow in Anaheim. Staal is a game-time decision, if he can’t go, Smith goes back to D. Quinn seemed optimistic Lemieux can play, too. #NYR

Trying Smith at LD might not be the worst thing in the world.

I wish he and Lundqvist would just co-announce that they are retiring at the end of the year

I know its crazy to walk away from guaranteed money but how about doing the organization a solid
