Well that’s just completely terrible. 23. Glad he is actually a pro as this may not have been diagnosed this early otherwise. Penn is a great hospital...., best wishes.

Is he being treated at Penn? If I were 22 with cancer I think I’d want to go back home to be near my family while going through treatment. I’m sure there are great hospitals in Sweden too. Cancer is terrible, but it’s extra upsetting when a kid gets sick. My youngest kid is 22.

This is just....no words heart breaking. This kid was such a breath of fresh air the second he came on to this team..

I just read that NFL player, Mark Herzlich, was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in college. Underwent treatment, was declared cancer free and played the next year. He went on to play in the nfl for like 7 years.

First thing that came to mind when I came across this was. This young, good looking kid is having a break out season and now he can’t continue nor enjoy the ride. Gone in a blink of an eye. Now he could pull a Saku Koivu but right now. This is unbelievable.
