Hopefully no one will be crass enough to make this news into part of a narrative about the "suffering" of Flyer fans, when a 23 year old is fighting cancer. - Feanor
Good thoughts for Oskar!
Thoughts are with him, at least he has the best people in the world helping him out. |

Well right now the kid is fighting for his life. If not for hockey who knows how soon he would be diagnosed. Thank God for that. Obviously hockey takes a back seat. That he could be done means nothing compared to living a long life.
My thoughts and prayers are with Oskar and his family.š |

Terrible news about Oskar Lindblom...
Per the Flyers Twitter account, Oskar was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma today, and will be out for the remainder of the season.
On the bright side, I've read that this cancer is highly curable.
All the best to Oskar in his fight. Hope to see him back in good health and doing the things he loves soon! - BaronVonShiznit
Such a shockingly sad piece of news for a young guy like Oscar....Iām sure everyone around here will pull for this young man to win this tough battle he has ahead of him. |

Sending good vibes to Lindy. My brother was diagnosed with Leukemia at 25 and kicked it into remission in just 6 months. Wishing him the same luck. |

Wow, just heard the news on Lindblom. I want to make perfectly clear that I don't care about the impact on the Flyers. My heart goes out to him and his family. A young guy in his prime at the top of his game and now this devastating news. Hopefully, on the little bit of what I read about Ewing's sarcoma, it can be cured. Hopefully he can get past this and resume his life and possibly his career. |

Well thatās just completely terrible. 23. Glad he is actually a pro as this may not have been diagnosed this early otherwise. Penn is a great hospital...., best wishes. |
