I Keep trying to find something good about Nylander's game but he continues to show me nothing. He has a low hockey IQ...Perfect example on the 2-1 with Dach...I can't recall the last time I have seen a player pull-up and go backwards to take a shot on a 2-1.

an d that has been one of the raps on him for awhile...sikura in tomorrow...for what its worth...

the silence of bowman and mcd has been very curious...

you fire JC then you have to fire stanbow....you can not change coaches early 2 seasons in a row with out the gm going also...

Is Scotty Bowman still a front office employee on this team? Maybe it's time to kick his a$$ out to the curb.
- powerenforcer

Someone said they talked to him at the airport (at the start of the season?) and asked him what he thinks of the team. Scotty said “the team has an uphill climb”.

There experienced Cup winners on this team who need to take charge of this team - and not just one or two - Kane, Toews, Keith (yeah, injured(, Seabrook (who many think should be captain), Crawford.

These guys should have the complete respect of everyone on the teams - time for them to take over, lead this team - they know how to play winning hockey - even if the skills of a couple of them have eroded - they need to show the rest what it takes.

- StLBravesFan

I respect this opinion and agreed with it until recently...

Time for an overhaul beginning with management...now or after this trainwreck of a season ends... I don't want anyone involved in the Jokiharju for Nylander deal making future transactions.

I don't know the timing of the change but I would bet when Colliton goes Eddie Olczyk is the new head coach for next season.

That’s worse than a freight train on fire. That also smells of McD.

Sorry to say ‘I told you so’, but the hiring of Colliton, with zero experience as even an assistant in NA on ANY team at ANY level, will go down as one of the top 10 mistakes in Blackhawk history.

Letting B. Hull go to the WHA is #1

Joking aside, but wouldn't be shocked if Sikura wanted to be back in Rockford at this point.

Playing for this Hawks club may ruin his confidence.

Sorry, Jeremy Colliton determined that Henri Jokiharju was not good enough to play for him. Enough said.

Debatable. I'd say it's a coin flip between that and trading Espo, Hodge and Stanfield and only getting back Pit Martin (essentially). Was a Martin fan as a kid but that deal is just as franchise altering as letting Hull walk IMHO.

Or the Oyster trade. It's got to be in the conversation.

Colliton implied he liked the 1st period (in which the Hawks were out-attempted 25-4), so I asked again, and he basically doubled-down that he did:

"We found a way to survive and sometimes that's what you have to do on the road."

is this guy for real...found away to survive...yeah the (frank)n way was #50...

Tonight will he Boqvist's 9th game in the NHL this year. Will he play tomorrow, burning the 1st year of his ELC, sent to Sweden to prepare for the World Junior tourney, or sent back to the Rock?
- boilermaker100

Boqvist looks very tentative in his game. Either he is nursing an injury, or is afraid to get hit. Feel free to give someone else from Rockford a kick at the can.

They know how to take the lead...but they don’t know how to keep the lead...and that’s really the most important part.

I'd say it's always an option...just the toughest to commit too.

I generally choose ownerships worst nightmare...

especially since they fired a HoF, 3 time Cup winning coach to bring Colliton onboard.
JC could still be a good NHL head coach some day but he needs another decade of assisting at the NHL level first; maybe more time as a HC someplace else too

But, would not surprise me at all if it happened. Hawks can't get enough of 'the past.' Bigger question is, who will be forced to deal with Foley in the booth?
