Eichel is shooting 12% better without him and possess the puck more than any other player in the NHL now that his entire game isn’t crossing the blue line and giving the puck to Skinner and never getting it back.

Every other elite player averages over a PPG but it’s ok for Skinner to generate offence for himself and essentially only himself.

E.Kane and Skinner are both zone entry players who like to have possession. Olofsson is a catch and release shooter and thrives on finding the open areas and letting the bomb go.

Olofsson is developing quite nicely and could be a player that is successful without an elite Center but he definitely benefits more from someone like Eichel then a guy like Skinner does.

I wager he will disappoint.
