Joki, Panarin, Schmaltz (although we replaced him with a similar situation), Hino, TT (although he was apparently dictated by the Canes to take Bickell). Aside from Hino, either 1st rounders or high performing FA. I know there are qualifiers to each of those deals, but it seems you have a point.

Why do people keep insinuating that it takes some great courage to fire a (or our) GM? Honestly, how much blowback would there be from the fans of Bowman was canned? 2/3 of fans likely want him gone for the Seabrook deal alone. There are two major considerations for ownership for firing a GM (IMO). Is he running the team in a way that improves the brand (or value)? Is there a clear competent path?
