you could post the same stat chart for 2/3 of their games...when you give up the quality they give up and your goalies revert to just being good...well 3 plus goals against is not that difficult

Odds are very small there will be a shootout tonight.

His ability TO skate allows him gets uncovered. Strome just can't make any space for himself with his skating. Not only is he slow but he lacks any semblance of quickness.

All made worse cause he is not displaying any of the smarts he showed last season to help compensate for his skating issues. Seems like any time he touches the puck he is looking to pass to Kane.

I was just saying on that play. The puck was barely won back behind the center. Kane just said hi as he floated by and Maatta looks like he overskated.

I wonder how much time they spend practicing the “turn the puck over in your own zone” pass.

They’ve perfected it - every player knows exactly where to be to not be in position to receive a clearing pass.

The defense we knew would be bad - but the offense - with Kane, AdB, Toews, Saad, Strome - should be much better - certainly a goal per game better on average.
