God they are bad. Both basically on breakaways. I didn’t think the first one was that great a shot, but who knows. Penalty on Cat 10 secs in was garbage.

To be fair, the Hawks defense is pretty meh to begin with and then you knock out their top 2 defensmen. What do you expect?

Brutal is the correct word. It looks like a pickup team on the ice, truly sad at how hard this team has fallen. I think a run at the top pick wouldn't be the worst thing.

So I guess you are saying they win 3 cups with Hossa and Kane without Toews. But they cannot win 3 cups with Kane and Toews without Hossa. Otherwise what is your point. I say they do not win even one cup without all 3.

Kane maybe has played without an elite center. But he also never played a 200' game, won faceoffs, played on the PK, captained a team, etc….

This 1000 times over, man oh man, stop with the Toews Kane comparisons, one's a center, the other plays by far and away, the easiest position in hockey and because of this, will have definitely more years in his career.

hawks seem to be looking past this game to the blues...
