You know when you walk downtown and there's that guy on the corner in the tattered clothes with the ratty hat and something that might be dirt smeared all over him, including his face. He smells of something that's not quite sewage, but certainly is comprised of at least 40% waste product. And he has that sign, "The End is Nigh!".
Do you stop to argue with him? He's clearly crazy!
Why do you do it on the internet? - Monkeypunk
Why do people bring politics up on the hockeybuzz and then get triggered when someone with a difference of opinion and belief posts a contrary narrative and links?
I wouldn't bother posting except some folks want to turn this into a political forum from time to time.
Usually it starts by someone insulting President Trump, making a leftie talking point, or the denigrating the USA. Then I interject with my commentary then people like you start hurling the insults and invective.
Why don't you people stick to hockey and it won't get to this point in the first place.

Sadly, she does do harm.
She allows the very people who need to be converted to dismiss the message, because she's a 16 year old with no scientific background.
Let me put it to you another way:
If there was a 16 year old espousing a view that was from the right side of the political spectrum, would you give him/her the time of day? Would you consider his/her argument, or laugh it off as the uneducated views of a kid who hasn't graduated from high school yet? - Atomic Wedgie

What do you mean "you people" .....
I liked our debate. Nothing wrong with it. Ignorance is having no opinion. Different opinions aren't a bad thing.

Kaptain isn't that guy ....he's just a guy/girl that is seeking intelligence. If we all took your words to heart and ignored dumb arguments we'd still be on page 1 of this blog. - The Law
Pfft. Different levels of crazy!
There's Internet hockey crazy. Where the person is probably covered in Cheeto dust or perhaps has Dorito fingers with at least one coffee stain somewhere on their clothing, and they own at least one t-shirt that proclaims the marvellous virtue of beer. The t-shirt has been washed, but still has 10 orange fingerprint stains permanently embedded into the stomach area.
Then there's Manic hockey crazy, where you sit in the dark room by the eerie glow of your laptop monitor with posters of Nylander with X'd out eyes on all the walls.

Hey Jack, you missed the HABS game? Nothing has changed I guess. I still remember when we worked Ron Reusch’s SportsNight 360 TV show. You’d show up just minutes before the show, tell us u did not watch the game, ask us what happened & then go on-air & say everything we told u 🤦♂️

Yeah but I can relate more to Marinaro because he's like every single blue kool aid doom and gloom leafs fan crammed into one loud italian dude with a jerry curl and he happens to cheer for the Habs
He's the only person that's palatable (from an entertainment standpoint) on TSN690

She doesn’t claim to be a scientist. At all.
She is a voice, that’s it. There are a lot of 60 year old while angry males with zero education on the subject voicing their opinions.
She getting a message out there to people, there is nothing wrong with raising awareness.
Just don’t listen man. There are a lot of people I choose not to listen to.

I don’t listen to the 60 year olds with uneducated opinions either (not sure why you need to dismiss them based upon skin colour and gender). That’s exactly my point.
The left (of which I am one of) can’t have it both ways: if uneducated guests on Fox News should be ignored because they don’t have a background of knowledge to be credible, don’t turn around and tell the world they need to listen to Greta.

Singling out 60y old white males is quite strange.
If you want to tag groups that do harm to society, there are surely lots of other groupings possible that are more accurate.
Defining someone by his group's age and skin color is quite ignorant
