And how long do you think "human check outs" and tellers will be a thing? Automation easily replaces these professions as it does truck drivers and many other fields.

Technological advancements in AI/machine learning far outstrip our ability to transfer those who will lose their jobs to automation in the next decade to another profession. Not to mention the demise of brick and mortar stores to online supermarkets like Amazon and how that will affect the workforce.

Automation is unlike any other perceived existential threat humanity has ever faced per workforce in the history of... history.

So yeah, I think I will worry too much. Andrew Yang? Buddy, I'm listening.

I don't agree. The 'they are all as bad as each other' line is reductive and simple minded, and lets the truly evil off the hook. Bad policies are one thing. Outright racism, emboldening of white nationalism, authoritarianism, and befriending dictators is another thing altogether, behaviour NEVER before seen in an American president. Its shameful.
