Andersen is never the best of the best, but he might be one of the most consistent. Over a season he pretty much ends up the same place

Babcock was not playing the best players enough. His player usage was insane.

The funny thing is, Keefe can do very little and just do the obvious and look like a hero.

The Barrie usage was shockingly stupid by Babs.

Yet Leaf fans daily hear from other team's fans that Andersen carries them on his back and he's amazing.

The "Hype" of Andersen comes a lot from non Toronto fans and media.

This is true. He had an under 900 save % in 7 games against Boston 2 years ago. Last year he was better, but then let in a back-breaking horrible game 7 goal to kill the team.

I am not worried about him though. No goalie is 100% all the time. You just want his consistency

A great example was last week in Buffalo. Hutton faced more shots and had better #'s but the spin was Freddy saved the day!!!

They are tied with the habs at 34pts - leafs have played an extra game then them and 2 -3 games more than tampa and the rangers who are only 2pts behind the leafs. The team the leafs are 1pt behind have 2 more games to play.
Not a great position in December for a team that was supposedly top 5 in the league.
