And who cares about outisde of a playoff spot? It's the only time they've been outside the playoffs in his 4 years on the team and they are 1 point out.

Andersen is never the best of the best, but he might be one of the most consistent. Over a season he pretty much ends up the same place

Since 2013-14 - Frederik Andersen's rookie season - he ranks 2nd in amongst all NHL goalies in GSAx according to Evolving-Hockey (+55.39).

The only goalie ahead of him is John Gibson - his battery mate in ANA - at +93.82... which is crazily high.

He has to do it in the playoffs to be considered better by me. He has not been good thus far come playoff time. He also tends to have 1-2 long stretches of very poor play every season.
