Pettersson is a great player indeed though - there were a lot of people laughing at Vancouver for drafting him (the comments on this board were mostly negative; 'they drafted a 14y old!') and it seems all were wrong on him.

ya i struggled staying up but then game was fun, lots of action ....

leafs are in tough , its a log jam at the bottom, they really need to go on a bender like 6 or 7 game winning streak....

Have to put the breakaways in perspective. Boeser was sitting at the Leafs blueline the entire third period, waiting for the breakaway pass. Goalie is big part of the team. Leafs won, play was in the Vancouver end for the final two minutes when Nucks had the extra attacker on. Can't wait to lay another beating on the Nucks on the oddest day of next year February 29th. 7:00 PM start in TO, should piss off a few Nuck trolls.

I haven't seen Makar too much - but I think Heiskanen is an awesome player and might be a future Norris level winner; he is awesome.

at this point of time I would take Heiskanen and Pettersson over Makar - just because of those two have been longer in NHL .

outside of the top 10 in both save% and gaa (tops in wins, but he plays way more than any other goalie) and his team is outside of a playoff position...........

am I missing something? you'd think an "all world" goalie could take the "greatest team assembled in the cap era" to at least a playoff berth
