One of my friend's wives works in the ER of a local hospital. There was a picture of an x-ray going around that showed an entire Mag-lite stuck up there

And some of the most disturbing ones. She had to crack a guy's chest that was burnt to a crisp in a car accident and literally massage his heart.

Yea, sick sh!t. How about first responders, the medics who arrive on the scene right as first contact after a horrible crash/accident. My cousin just says "I don't tell tales. What happens at work stays at work".

My buddy works in a hospital, he scored an x-ray of a guy who had a large knife stuck in his head. Dude somehow survived.

It's a tough decision and one we knew would come some day, we all said it when Hank signed the last big deal these last 2/3 years could be dicey. I know I don't want to see him anywhere else to finish his career. How strange would it be that 2 out of 3 of our all time goalies (Richter & Hank) were career Rangers playing in these eras of player movement and Giacomin who played in the old days wasn't a career Ranger
- B2B76

Yup. Its funny, teams hold onto great goalies, yet Stanley cup winners prove you don't need one. Its a double edged sword

I love Richter and think people only see 1994 with him, he did have several all star seasons and great play besides that year but for sure gotta say without the Stanley Cup ring he's probably not held up as an all time Ranger.

Yeah. He would have been a an awesome goalie for sure, but the ring sealed the deal

First 4 seasons of his career were basically split time with Vanbiesbrouck, the Roger Neilsen special. But the 96 World Cup tournament was maybe his best goaltending display ever, totally gave Team Canada fits. Also 99-2000 he was an all star and that was when his decline began as he got hurt in the silly skills competition.

Who is staying up for tonight's game?

I might make it through the 1st

- mdw7413

I will be there (Zib must score! ), and i expect everyone who rendered Christina A. (most with closed eyes i guess...) today as well - after the obligatory post-nap of course.

He was incredible in that WC series. If Vancouver won in 94, Richter might not have been put on the pedestal.
I don't see him get injured in the skills, don't think I saw the ASG that year.
